Bad start

Right there at 9-ish in the morning, Primpy Junior flashed the blue screen, then the black screen telling me of disk error, then Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart. Fine, restart I did. Then there was the sound of a cackling beetle caught in the whirring fan. My arms flew up in the air with exasperation. Great! Primpy Junior couldn't boot!! Can you believe it? My hardisk died on me. Yes, died. Perished. Departed. Deceased. Expired. D-I-E-D!! ON NEW YEAR'S DAY!! Always on New Year's day!! And what was worse? It's only been a year and a half and nothing can be salvaged. Nothing. Zilch. I lost everything - precious emails, precious chat histories, precious photos, precious writings, important documents, not-so-important mp3s and videos. No, New Year's day wasn't a happy one and it doesn't help at all when my temper isn't containing very well within its volcanic well.

I dreaded the tiring efforts of reinstallations of pirated softwares and cracking product keys - email accounts, anti-virus, anti-spyware, chat programmes and all the usual works one has to do to re-equip Primpy. All of that aren't very difficult tasks but it does irritate very much when they don't bloody function - my bluetooth transfer doesn't work (help me out on toggle?). My Jaring dial-up couldn't work (not that I want to maintain my account anymore but what are the pop and smtp server names, please?). My streamyx direct dial couldn't work. My Adobe programmes boot up everytime Primpy starts (how do I disable it?) and to add to my frustrations, I have to remember passwords and passkeys to many.

Primpy Junior is currently empty. All that I own is gone. G-O-N-E !! I'm ready to cry, I seriusly am. I simply do not have any use for hardisk space now. Sigh. The consolations though, were the prompt response from Dell and the availability of internet connection after the draggy year end torture. On a positive note, my eyes were slightly rested with the absence of screen glare and read all my unread Reader's Digest issues. But I am now RM500.00 poorer, am tired, drained, upset and beginning to feel the effects of being imsomniac.

Note: I sincerely apologise to those whom I've directly flared my temper/raised my voice at. I'm emotionally affected when it comes to either the internet, Primpy Junior or my phone lines.

No doubt it's a bad start. Things are not fine just yet but I'm keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed that something better will come along soon. I need to conserve strength and hold my chin up high to survive the next 12 months.

I know, I know. I should get a life. "It's a sign to spend less time in the blackhole," as how Limpa aptly termed it. "It's only the virtual world. Get real!" Doy harshly but firmly reminded. "Yeah, take the opportunity to rest and go out yumcha," chiki contributed.

Am I *that* pathetic? Hmm...maybe I am after all but hey, it's *still* a bad start, ok. But despite that, lookey! I would still smile for you...albeit a little lacking in life [Hint: Spot the new curls].

Goodnight. Good morning.

Hey Reta, loss is an understatement. I really don't know where to begin to refill the hardisk. Sigh.

Hey M, I did think of you but I thought I'd let Dell do it. You won't believe it that I re-installed the 2nd time and was pretty good at it. Must have been the basics you taught me. Still the geekgurl. Now I can install Windows XP for others already, including drivers. Woohoo!

Seep

For fuck's sake, can the bloody drilling stop? It's bloody SUNDAY! My backdoor neighbour has changed 2 constructors, did floor tiling AFTER paintwork and have been drilling this way for the past 2 months, 24/7.

I need sleep, damn it! My curtains are already not thick enough to block off all ounce of light, I was woken up by a phonecall at the wee hour this morning, both my eyes are swollen, teary and red from the lack of sleep, my nose itchy, irritated and sneezy from all the dust, I've got a pounding head, had to crawl out of bed to go for breakfast with my buddy AND silly text messages bugging me: Look, it's all your prerogative, hear me?
1) Write your unpleasant posts as you wish but don't try to contradict yourself and sound nice now as if you're an angel.
2) If going over there to see you is not a good idea for the both of us, then why bother looking me up when you're over here.
3) Bring your sweet corn over if you have to but you'd better not eat into my nap time.

*drill drill drill*

I tell you, if I have rotten muffins in the oven right now, I swear I'll throw them at the driller and stuff his face silly. Damn it!

I'm gonna try putting the "l" back into "seep" before anger seeps through my veins. You'd better stay far far away from me this afternoon...and let me S.L.E.E.P!!

My dear

It gives me the creeps when someone calls or addresses me 'my dear'. Not 'dear'. Not 'my'. It's 'my dear'. Whole. Really, it reminds me of the big bad wolf.

"Grandma, grandma, why are your hands so big?"
"So it's better to hold you with, my dear."

"Grandma, grandma, why are your ears so big?"
"So it's better to hear you with, my dear."

"Grandma, grandma, why are your eyes so big?"
"So it's better to see you with, my dear."

"Grandma, grandma, why is your nose so big?"
"So it's better to smell you with, my dear."

"Grandma, grandma, why is your mouth so big?"
"So it's better to EAT you with, my dear."
*NGAP NGAP*

Phobia. I can imagine that someone being a perverted kam yue low when he uses that endearment. Brrr!!

Bleh

I haven't written much over the past few days/weeks except for filler posts and this is no different except that it's a bleh post of sorts.

Work and meetings during the weekdays have been keeping me really busy and tired with too much of a rush when travels were thrown in here and there. Rushing seems to keep my blood pumping. The adrenalin rush can put the physical being into a test for stamina. And when it’s time to wind down, I feel bleh.

I've been trying to keep up with my yoga classes regularly in the weeknights but haven't been doing that for the past 10 days plus my monthly subscription ended yesterday. I think I'm (psychologically) putting on weight. I lack sleep every night, I'm not sure if I can catch up with the hours I lost. I feel bleh.

My craving for kit kat increased in the past week and my moods were pretty swingy. At times, I felt dangerously melancholic. A constant nagging of mild migraine seemed to be feeding the melancholia. I could be cheerful and eager on some days, stupid and dumb on others, moody and upset when I least expect it and energetic when I fuel in the chocs. But I have to admit that my lethargic brain has been working overtime, worrying and thinking too much of the unknown. I feel bleh.

Slight bit of seafood has given me some itchy rash. And while scratching this itchy patch on my forearm, my heavy lids are beckoning to shut down and my warm, comfortable bed is hollering for immediate intimate company.

Take the bleh out of me.

Un-tea

I'm lacking sleep. I was staring onto the ceiling the whole of last night (and in the wee hours this morning), eye twinkling away, not being able to catch a single wink, until 4am!!

Reason: Silly me ordered tea last night during my yumcha session. I was cautious NOT to order chocolate drink, coffee or tea. But I know I wanted a hot drink. I have tried some berry fruity "tea" at Coffee Bean the day before and thought that the place I went to last night would have some berry fruity "tea" as well. So I tried my best choosing the most un-tea sounding "tea" but how the hell would I know that "loose rose petals" actually translated to bland, chinese, tea-O? So kau some more.

Think I'll just stick to milk or juice next time. Dang!

My trip up north to hometown Penang this weekend was great. Was out on an eating galore (what's new), was treated to a Balinese massage at ParkRoyal. Birthday treat, see? *winks* Also got Primpy updated with some v.10 of Symantec Antivirus and had some schwinging time on swings!!

Oh well, time to catch up on some sleep. Goodnight!

Rattle

Have been bouncing back and forth at work. You see, I've got lots of loose ends to tie up and tight knots to loosen before I go elsewhere to stir up some mess. Kinda have to keep up with my reputation, you see. It's great to be boss but it's a bother to be connected to them. *shrug* Still, kickass, man!

Have been on and off the net. You see, I thought it was the modem - Huawei kaputed long time ago. Aztech didn't bloody work, don't ask why. Only stupid Hyundai connects, don't ask why either. I know what you're thinking: that all ADSL modems work the same. Your guess is as good as mine. Made complaints to streamyx, they came 5 days later, fussed with my connection for 3 hours, tested with a new modem, still didn't work, fussed some more, told me my line was unstable, left my house, changed some cables somewhere, came back 3 hours later, tested with another modem, it worked! Ok, I don't care what they did or how they did it. As long as it's free and it works, I don't bloody care. Only consolation to me that day was to find out that my modem's got lifetime warranty. Woohoo!

Have been going in and out of Nail Bars. You see, I've been trying to keep my nails long and thought that manicure (and pedicure) sessions would help. Well, they kinda did for a while only to find that short nails with that neat-and-tidy look actually suits me best. Pffttt!

Alongside major happenings like that, I had a hair steam and got fringed at the same time. I settled my summon at last. I found my long lost favourite black lycra panty this morning. I felt constipated, took a sachet of psyllium husk yesterday night and went to the toilet about 6 times today. I tried going for massages but the masseur ain't no good no more. I crave for Bushman shrooms.

La la la la la!

I'm boggled. Why can't some people say what they mean and mean what they say? [You can keep this for as long as you want to] Why can't some people keep to their words? [I want it back now] Why do some people have to lie? [It was given free] Why can't some people act their age? [They are called "males"] Why can't some people think before they speak? [Filter needs a renewal] Why?

As such are small minds, bebeh! Oh well, we learn something new each day, don't we?

That's all for the news on Blooms at midnight.

Later...

Hi foodcrazee. They may monopolise no longer. There's now Jaring wireless and I heard there's cable service in some places too! Wait a few more months and there will be hot competition. They'd better buck up and offer better packages: Like free modem with RM55/mth unlimited access or something.

Sod off tag

Thank you so much for the tag, Imran. The first for 2006.

The tag requires me to:
1) Write an entry of between 100-200 words, with these words have to be included once, and only once:

- I
- me
- blowjob
- grapes
- random
- power
- loneliness
- water
- robot
- blue

2) Your essay must make some kind of sense.

3) Send to 5 people

I initially gave this meme post a blank stare and have requested a non-bloggie to attempt this for me. Raven gladly obliged with a marvelous entry but I then decided that I wanted to take this up because of an unwelcomed email in my inbox. I suddenly realised that this meme post came very timely indeed. So in about 230 words, I wrote my factual and true entry:

You see, I am very pissed off with you. Yes you, you bitchy hypocrite. Stop sending me emails. In fact, stop coming by my blog. What are you trying to prove? That the honey of the blooms in this garden is so sweet you love sucking it?

Hey, go use your smelly mouth on something more useful, will you? Like give some arsehole out there a limpy blowjob if you so wish to prove your skills. And while you are ramming your throat, why don't you shove one or two rotten grapes up your nostrils? You can be assured of random orgasmic effects full of power and ooommph! And just in case solo you are concerned of loneliness, [tsk tsk tsk] why don't you go invite shitheads like Mr Baldy or Ms Bummy or even Ms Botox to join you? Oh, and while you are at it, please tell StainTeeth that her perfume stinks the hell out of everyone in her hive?

Stop sending pretentious emails, you [insert your own profanity adjective], will you, or buckets of water from the stinking stench will douche your malodorous canal. No wait! Perhaps you would prefer a missile of ice cubes shooting you at your brainless farked up head by a robot machine?

Now fuck off with all your other pretentious morons before ah choke you fool blue and squash you under mah feet!

Sod off!

Dear bloggers, I'm in no mood to tag anyone. Feel free to tag yourselves.

I hope you have been wondering about my absence. Hehe! Well, I was drowning in a bloody quicksand which I mistakenly thought was only a muddy swamp. Pfffttt! I crawled out safely alright, still feeling a little dampened but caught up slightly with life again.

And then just when I thought I was on safe ground again, damn broadband of my cheese had to be caught in a mousetrap! It's already close to a week without internet access and I'm getting all jittery.

Patience, patience. I'll get it fixed.

Thunder-strucked fools

Thunder
Ahh, there is thunder growling fiercely at last. I'd bet many are waiting for the rain to pour cats and dogs, not just teeny, dusty trickles. That would clear the haze up a little and allow some fresh air into our lungs.

Strucked
Have you ever felt that dull ache in the heart, like an invisible pierce of a knife? It strikes when you think of somebody you miss dearly. It comes when silence gets unbearable. It happens when memories flood back. It pinches you when words you don't want to hear from a loved one is said. Have you ever? It stays for just a mere 5 seconds, long enough for you to notice the pressure which automatically triggers the mind to remember at least one event? Have you ever?

"I so want to see you, want to talk to you."
"Yes, talk."
"But the radio is just too loud and noisy."
"I've got my nephew with me."
"Uhmm, so?"
"And my mother just told me that there's a gathering in my house."
"Didn't you know about it?"
"No, it was last minute and I'm expected to do this, this and this. I've got to go."
"B..b..but I want to talk to you."
"I'll call someone later, ok?"
"That later almost always never comes."
"I've got to go."
"Sigh. It's always like that, isn't it? I want to talk and you need to go."
"Say that once more and I'll never call again."

And before?

"You have me to run to if you have any problems."
"You know there's no one else."
"I want to be the only one."

Fools
There are just too many fools around.

Puki Bionic for one. She's a fool who knows that she is a fool, yet wanted to pretend that she's no fool by doing things only fools do.

Lanchiau BoogerBaldy is another. He doesn't know he is a fool but did things on purpose which screamed "call me a fool, call me a fool now!"

Chauhai StainTeeth is the new addition to the court. She thinks she isn't a fool but she stuck bananas up her own ass, talks cock and played games that only fools in fools' world play.

Kamlan HorseTail was an unknown fool but he has now made himself a visible fool. He struts around the court, blow into the air and say "hey, you fool! Make me one too!"

Cheebye BigMouth is just another Puki. She's a fool who's afraid to be a fool but had to listen to other fools and be a fool to fool the fools in fools' world.

Fools. Can't do with them yet can't do without them.

Restored

After two days of anxious waiting, heartache, headache, dark rings and eye bags under the eyes from worrying, Primpy Junior has been restored to its original state, perhaps better. Ah, finally! Finally! *PTL*

Raj from my IT department did a clean and complete reformat where at the same time, I requested that he added another partition for me in the HDD for future convenience. Ah, clever Primrose.

Happy with spick-and-span Primpy, I couldn't wait to get home and glide my hands all over the smooth silver metal and plonk my fingers on the soft black keys again. Losing Primpy for 2 whole days is like not having a life for 2 whole days. *rolls eyes*

"Cool notebook you have" Raj had commented earlier that evening

"Why, thank you. I know!" I replied with unhidden pride

"Yeah, very, very cool indeed," he added, looking at Primpy left and right, feeling it, touching it, scrutinising it with an earnest longing.

"Isn't the screen a little too small?" he probed

"Well, I like everything small." I laughed. "Laptops I mean." I chuckled

Raj handled Primpy with a lot of care and I was very glad he did. Of course I was helping out here and there, giving instructions now and then, he found it so amusing.

"Hey, hey! Slow down, slow down. I'll settle this for you. It's like I'm the doctor and you're the nurse" he teased

"It's my precious, you know. I spent a fortune on this laptop"

"How did you know so much about computers? You graduated with an IT degree or something?" he asked, probably impressed with my knowledge on NTFS and BIOS and disk boot-up and partitions and reinstallations and drivers and upgrades.

"Well, let's just say that when you own a car, you just simply need to know what's in there and how it works and what's being done to it" I answered thoughtfully.

"Hmm, not many girls would know this much, you know. In fact, I don't think they will ever be interested." And with that, he continued showing and explaining what he was doing to Primpy and one can really learn new things everyday.

With Primpy taking it's rightful place on my table in my room again, which was empty for what seemed like ages, I rubbed my hands in glee and started installing programmes into it - Adobe, Office, Norton, Adaware, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo etc. It took me quite a few hours including generating and cracking key codes with a pang of guilt for using pirated softwares but oh well, it's Malaysia after all. *hides face in the ground*

Three odd hours later, Primpy was fully clothed.
*glimmer glimmer*
*sparkle sparkle*

I still found dark rings and bags under the eyes this morning but that was from surfing too much and fussing with precious Primpy as though I was making up for lost time. *snigger*

Chill out time!

Now, PrincEss, about the bags under the eyes.... Last night, Whitney Houston's husband said on Telly what his cure for those is. He recommends rubbing hemmorhoid cream on the bags under the eyes. He swears that it works for him.

Broodbang

Good news and bad.

The good news is, I've got streamyx all set up. Hooray to broadband. Everything's so fast and I can log on the whole day for all I care...but not without glitches here and there. Now why is that? Ah, that's the bad news.

I have made two attempts in applying for streamyx. First time, I was too lazy to go purchase an ADSL modem and they cancelled my registration when I didn't activate after 7 days upon approval. That's fine. Besides, it was my own fault.

Second attempt took them two whole weeks to approve my application and what did I tell them at the beginning? That I will do my own installation. That I didn't want to pay installation fees. Ah, but no. TMNet didn't listen. They happily sent me a guy to do all the work for me. Too late to reverse charges now unless I cancel the whole registration (and re-apply all over again). *sigh* That's fine. I'll take the guy then - to install my modem, I mean. Besides, I can always bug him if anything goes wrong.

Now this guy, let's name him Ray, extremely obese, probably fat and lazy, made it to his first appointment to my house an hour late! That's fine. I could take it. Besides, I was all so excited to get everything fixed. My daddy was excited too. He didn't mind purchasing a router and two wireless adapters to get two other PCs in the house connected. That's absolutely fine. Besides, I didn't have to pay for them anyway. *snigger* That came to a hefty sum of $640.00!! *gasp* Settings were all done up and bye-bye, Ray.

Then what happens? We found out the next day that the settings were all jumbled and wireless connection didn't work for one PC. That's fine. I called Ray, he promised to fix the problem, we waited for him and he bloody forgotten about the appointment! That's fine too because I can wait. Besides, it didn't affect the connection to my Primpy Junior anyway.

Whilst Ray thought he could fix our little problem in 15 minutes, he actually had his butt stuck here for 3 hours today!! Heh, heh! That's absolutely fine because oh well, serves him right anyway. And while fiddling with Primpy, we found out that it refused to log-on to the administration/settings page of the router.

Ray: Eh, can throw your computer away lah
Me: Excuse me but this laptop is barely 4 months old (??)
Ray: Really? Then it needs re-formatting because your Explorer/browser is probably not updated or corrupted
Me: *makes a face*

Silly, stupid, stupid me did try re-formatting *smacks forehead* and to cut the whole story short, reinstallation of the drive was complete but software was found lacking. So poor Primpy is not feeling well and is sick now. And that's NOT fine! Isk! Got to seek help from some IT guy at work tomorrow. *bangs head on the table*

What a bang and a dang and a clang! No Primpy and no internet fun. So what do I do now? Right, I'll brood to sleep then. Pfftttt!!

Broadband my ass!

Echoes

I had an upsetting meeting this evening. So much so that my sentences were dwindled to a mere snap, expressed with a blank look of:
"I can't be bothered"
"I don't usually comment"
"I don't look at your calendar"
"I don't look at anyone's calendars"
"I don't speak with biggies much"
"Nothing gets done anyway, why bother"
"You will notice I don't speak with you much either"
"Since a signature doesn't mean an agreement, why bother signing"

Ugh! Such is the echoing mind.

+++
I have always had an anklet on my left foot - with a bell. Lately, I have been wearing a silver one a lot instead of a gold one until yesterday. Apparently a malay friend told me that I shouldn't keep my gold items "hidden" if I had any. Instead, I should wear them occasionally if not often. *shrug* Not that I believe in that but I thought it was time for a change anyway. So I dug out 2 gold jewellery items and wore them today, one being an anklet. Then I realised something. I must say that the meek resonance of the bell DID tinkle better in the gold one than the silver one.
Big bells
Small bells
Gold bells
Silver bells

Such is the echoing anklets. Tinkle! Tinkle!

I know nuts about wine but this one, I like. No, wait. Actually, I love. Red, very sweet, no sourish after-taste, from South Africa, can't get it here.

Close-up label. Go scrounge around for it *hint hint*

Look at the bottle, such suggestive shape. *naughty grin*
Blow a flute? Play a toy? Tis a pity it doesn't vibrate. Heh!

Ahh, such is the echoing wind.

Feckless

I never needed many spare cell phone batteries before but lately, I find myself burning them pretty quickly. I had an original and err, a non-original spare. Ok, ok, I don't support immitations but well, they cost a third of the price. So... Ask any Malaysians and they'll tell you about pirated VCDs, pirated DVDs, fake designer labels, fake this, fake that.

Anyway, back to my batteries. Just last week, the original flatted out and refused to charge. Went shopping for another non-original and chucked the bloated decayed.

It's only been 3 days since I used the new non-original and I noticed how it dies off in less than 2 days. Originals used to last 3 days and that included lots of chat time.

I began to wonder.

1) Could it be my charger? But it charges everytime
2) Could it be my phone? Couldn't be, no!
3) Have I been chatting more? Definitely not
4) Have I been texting more? Hmm, yes but texting doesn't take as much battery life as chatting
5) Could it have been it being a non-original? Ah huh! Culprit!

I began to wonder next.

1) Should I get a new original battery? *doubtful look*
2) Don't bother, just get a new cell phone? *eyes gleaming with eagerness*
3) If both options don't work, should I text less? *pout, pout*

And hence began the life of a feckless piece of junk non-original cell phone battery.

I wanted to buy KFC for lunch yesterday but I splurged $180 on a new pair of Topshop jeans instead - with KFC for lunch.

I wanted to buy some travel-sized bottles this morning but I splurged $100 on some eye cream instead - and paid for the containers as well.

Why I call it

This blog is dedicated to her who was unfairly treated by him.

Why would he want to write and tell her of his fullfilling, erotic, sensual and explosive wet dreams?
I call it lust or confessions of horniness

Why then did the candidness in communication turn narrow?
I call it a weak mind or being shallow

Why would he be so ultra sweet on Valentine's Day and leave her stranded the next day?
I call it the art of fishing or the art of cheating

Why would he only want to make a big deal out of Valentine's Day when there could be a whole year or the rest of his life to extol and glorify his girl?
I call it pure pretentiousness

Why would he want to ask for her permission to watch a movie with a different girl, when there was no relationship whatsoever with her in the first place, hence no need for such actions?
I call it desperate or forcing feelings or hard up to be bound

Why did he make vows for feelings not to return when his feelings were non-existent?
I call it an insensitive poop

Why was it that he seemed to act like he had been with her for 5 years when in actual fact, only a month?
I call it confusion between friendship and courtship

Why does he seem to think that becoming a SOMEBODY from a NOBODY can be achieved within one month?
I call it stump immaturity

Why would his love for her leave his soul as quick as lightning and then, fell deeply in love with another within one day?
I call it superficial love as he didn't qualify to be a casanova

Why would he proclaim his love as high as mountains and as deep as the seas to a girl of 2 weeks?
I call it childish infatuation

Why then would he project himself as sincere when he was, in actual fact, not?
I call it a wolf under sheep skin

Why would he ask her to grow up when he, at his late thirties had a mind of a child's?
I call it lack of intelligence

Why would he ask her to change her ways when he was full of faults?
I call it pot calling the kettle black

Why would he question the queen of hearts on whether she knew the rules of dating?
I call it naiveté and inexperienced

Why did he think that he was the best catch she could get and that it was her loss?
I call it inferiority complex

Why did he claim that his intentions weren't to hurt but did what he did to her?
I call it spitefulness

Why would he immitate her style of writing in his email?
I call that plagarism which is the best form of flattery or simply non-creativity

Why did that email contain forward indents?
I call it the cut-and-paste technique or the cock-and-bull story, obviously not his own

Why would he make reference to God but did no kind deeds?
I call it hypocrisy

Why must he hide behind an email when he could face her in daylight?
I call it the act of a coward

Why did he initiate the friendship when there was no intentions to pursue further nor keep it?
I call it the act of preying

Your comment here, dEar PrincEss, is closely related to your earlier blog post about "Feelings". In the comments, you questioned whether all men were just the same....

Alas, in this new post, your pain is evident and very understandable. Thank you for having the courage to share your heart with us. Even in anguish, your inner beauty shines.

Weird not, kid not

Nothing significant happened since I last wrote. Okay, maybe there were a couple of things worth blogging but either they were too personal or I was just plain lazy or I'll blog about them much later -- except for Moody. As much as I would like to discuss Moody with somebody else at work, alas, I don't think I can or else it would be deemed a gossip, something I don't normally practise at work.

I was away from the office for a few days last week and was back at work just 3 days ago. And since then, I noticed that MoodyWeirdo has been avoiding eye contact with me, not so much of a single word from her. I mean, words are already so scarce from her as though there's gold in her mouth and I couldn't have cared any less since she comes across as weird anyway and I would have been really happy to keep things that way, in fact - BUT unfortunately, that is certainly not encouraged at work to be able to work! Ok, maybe it wasn't so much of an obligation on my side but if there're no efforts made to initiate conversations, then, I'm not going to attempt anymore small talks just to be rewarded with one-worded answers and no eye contact. How impersonal can that be!

I have this strangest feeling that sensitive little she might have pounced upon my previous entry. Then again, it is hard to determine how discreet this blog has been since it's available on netspace and since people are known to be real snoops around here.

*shrug*

Well, just be reminded that this is MY blog and it expresses how I feel and it speaks MY mind and even if you chanced upon any of my posts in MY blog, it isn't your farking business, really. You can well read this, reflect upon your own character / behaviour, be thankful there's feedback and do something about it OR you can well just read it, fume up and simply shut the fark up OR you can continue to ignore because that's what you have been doing everyday anyway.

And if you are reading this, I'm sorry I have to be / am this blunt and tactless. Then again, I was never known for being un-blunt and tactful anyway. I do respect you for your age and wisdom but for a Masters Degree holder, I think I will have to agree with chiki that you failed kindergarten. Simple rules of thumb for being friendly, being able to communicate and being able to bring up a smile just simply didn't register. I mean, you smiled at that delivery boy just the other day when he came to deliver some stuff for you. You smiled at that good-looking enquirer (oh well, who wouldn't). You smiled at the gwailo enquirers but heck, no smiles for colleagues. I was just observing from afar when I realised that you can actually be quite transformed and attractive if you would just smile but heh! You just spoilt it with whatever attitude you have at the moment.

Ed, a regular visitor in the evenings, came over to me one day when I was on evening duty and commented "eh, your other colleague ah, she's so grumpy one. I walked in smiling but after seeing her seated at your place ah, I actually frowned. Serious, you know." And chiki who occasionally comes to visit at lunch times said to me "what's wrong with your colleague? People see her also want to run away."

*shrug again*

Composing this post just irks me. If you'll excuse me, I think I will go paint my toe nails now to cheer myself.

[Updated by Primrose - 31/01/05]
Ok, she initiated a short conversation with me this morning and happened to tell me about a problem relating to her best friend which she is currently facing at the moment. Ahh, no wonder she was how she was ... and then there was light! Perhaps I have misunderstood her...

But please forgive me,
Shocked and surprised I may be,
With that change in behaviour she,
But feelings will still be feelings
Thoughts will remain thoughts
Things were blogged off the cuff
At that point, mind in half
