There's nothing like knowing that life does its work of irony to remind you that cruelty exists. Just when you thought you found something, or someone for that matter, that you are fond of or love or that you would like to get close to or build a foundation with, you will find that there are many hurdles of circumstances, barriers of consequences and obstacles of difficulty that you have to surmount before you even manage to cup two palms full of eventuality.
I would like to think that it's fate. Fate works a funny way and plays a cruel game when the time is right. The tick of the clock is only enough for you to realise that you are missing that ounce of love. It appears for a moment in light of an angel to show you that there is more to this dangerous terrain than meets the eye. It is there simply to tell you that the ground you are treading comes blessings in disguise. Fate whispers that hope is lingering so you could steer towards your destined path or meet the better-half.
The irony of it all, can be cruel yet is kind. Amidst life's tales of fate, love and hope lies the conviction of faith.
I will not be disheartened.

Hmm, is this post related to V-day? Has the love bug caught up with you?
Life is cruel and uncertain. But take heart that whatever life throws at us, there is a reward waiting at the end of it. Just have to be patient I guess.

Imran: Nothing to do with V-day crap. The love bug almost caught up with the rose but got stuck at the torn, ouch, and fell to the ground. Another L-O-N-G climb back up to the rose, dude!
