Something someone

Something that someone did today
Reminded me that expressions shouldn't grey
Indeed, I should continue within
to seek of what the soul believes in

Something that someone did today
Tells me that memories hadn't fade
It's nice to be thought of once in a while
Even when we're apart, across the miles

Something that someone did today
Revealed that power is in what I say
Am I able to transmit my positives?
Pray tell me, how? What gives?

Something that someone did today
Showed me that you were never far away
Even when the blog has not been updated
You know what's being written, being posted

I haven't written nor expressed myself for some time
But something that someone did today prompted me like a chime
Reflecting the figments of things that made up my whole yesterday
Mirroring the fragments of life that don't matter anymore today.

I want to live a new day
With the wind in my hair
The breeze on my face
Smile on my lips
Contented...
